1994 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 Truck

Up for sale 1994 Dakota SLT Dual Cab 4x4. Its got rust and its not pretty but it runs very good. It's flat black color, interior is decent. I bought the truck in very rough mechanical shape with boh tire rods broken. I towed it home and brought it back to life. I fixed what I could on the body but more importantly I worked on the mechanics. I drained and re-filled coolant, drained and replaced transmission fluid, replaced power steering fluid, changed the air filter, changed engine oil and filter and cleaned fuel injectors. The only thing I didn't get to is alignment and muffler. It needs both. Also, the gas gauge doesn't work. Drive 250 miles and refill (to be safe, range close to 300). I keep an eye on this by resetting the trip odometer when I fill up. Muffler has new(er) pipe all the way to muffler box, from there back it needs replacement as its noisy. Around $60 total at muffler shop, about $15 if you know how to do it yourself. Alignment is about $50 as the truck has solid rear axle so alignment is done front only. Engine was replaced by a used one couple of years ago and transmission was rebuilt last year. Its not prettiest to look at but it runs very good and has a very good working 4x4. Cruise works, heat works, air conditioning works, radio works, driver's side window doesn't go down. It's a 1994 so no emission test ever. Also comes with two keys. Tires are decent, brakes are good. Parking brake doesn't work so I tied up the pedal so it doesn't bounce up and down, that's the reason behind the rope. It doesn't affect safety, brakes work great but the pedal for E-brake doesn't. Not an issue on automatics anyway. Perfect winter truck to get around with good heat and working 4x4. It has spare tire and jack/bar. I was going to use it this winter but something else came about so I need room for that project. Throw a muffler on it and do alignment (or one or neither) and you got a great working 4x4 truck. I'm selling it at what it cost me. No time for games, I work on cars full time so please no time wasting. Cash only. I will entertain best offers but not much. For asking price I will include the cap. Anything under $1350 cap will not be included. Its a good cap worth about $200-$250. I work 12 hours a day so we'll have to plan to meet day or two in advance. Mileage is 204K on body, engine somewhere in 150K range, trans rebuilt. It's a 3.9L Magnum V6. Text only. Clean Illinois title. Selling AS-IS. Thanks
